I have been looking for a good web host in Malaysia. Unfortunately, there are no summaries of all them unlike other countries.

I’ve used them before. The support is good, downtime low and frequent updates. I think they either run CentOS or BSD platforms.
2. Exabytes –> http://www.exabytes.com.my/
No feedback on this except that the fact they are big.

Price is cheap, but overselling. Domain is cheap but not the cheaper one.
2.Emerge –> http://www.emerge.com.my
Big and old company in Malaysia, but the price is expensive. You can get your hosting for RM99 in the first year, but the second year is at least RM385, if you need full features, then you have to pay more than RM800.
3.Yeahhost –> http://www.yeahhost.com
It is a branch of UK Company. They got their support and technical team in Malaysia. Although they are new in the Malaysia market, but I can see the different management from different country can result differently. I will recommended this, because I am using it right now ïŠ
4.FreeNet –> http://www.freenet.com
The first hosting company in Malaysia, it was popular before Exabytes, but now seem like getting worse and worse. I think their main problem is marketing, because their servers are not bad. You can give them some support if you want.
Hope this information can help! Sometimes when a company become popular, their support is getting worse. If you facing any problem with any BIG company, then you should try another one, BIG doesn’t mean GOOD anymore in the global market.

Seem like yeahhost is getting hot in Malaysia. Few days ago I went to Penang PC Fair and saw their promotion there. Only RM149 during the promotion period included free domain.

Domino seems like a spammer, because after I transferred to yeahhost, no spam at all. Can you imagine 0% Spam free for your mail service? In Malaysia, only yeahhost can do it.

Yeahhost has yet to refund me after 3 weeks of service cancellation. I have written 3 emails and no response was made to the last 2.
Its service was ok but the Windows server is not ready for Joomla setup. Linux server is at North America and not suitable for fast connection

I have just received reply from Yeahhost Malaysia saying the refund will take 6 months. It is a policy to protect the company.
I would rate this as an dishonest business conduct as it is not spelled out in the agreement.

After see your post, I went to check with Yeahhost as their old customer, and found out something very interesting!
I have been told you have submitted your refund request to them on October 15th, 2009, which is 1 day after your post here, and your money back guarantee period already expired, but they still process the refund for you, what else you want? lol

Signed up yeahhost hosting plan last month, they helped me process my order offline due to my credit card problem. They called me and solved all problems for me. I paid them through bank transfer, and received my login details the same day. I like everything well arranged, good job!
